Lucid Dreams Tea Recipe

August 26, 2025 in Tea Recipes

A medicinal blend of tea that supports an awakened dream-state. Using this tea alone will not bring you into a lucid dreaming state, but it is an excellent addition to your bedtime rituals you already have in place. In preparation for sleep, brew this tea if you wish to ground your energy while increasing your Third Eye activity before bed. Mugwort is the star of this blend, while it is incredibly bitter, it is known to enhance your habitual dream state. To achieve regular lucid dreaming is a process and practice that requires consistent effort. This tea is an excellent addition to your spiritual toolbox!

Like I said, Mugwort is bitter, so that taste is definitely to be expected. While this blend has additional herbs to increase palatability, there is still the bitter aftertaste (just like with coffee). This blend is contraindicated when pregnant.

The magical aspects of this blend are:

  • Mugwort: protection, astral projection, increase Third Eye activity, spiritual cleansing, promotes more dreaming

  • Chamomile: prepares your body for sleep, purifies your energy

  • Passionflower: promotes a peaceful dream-time

  • Rose: protection, increases psychic powers

  • Spearmint: sleep protection, promotes healing sleep

  • Oatstraw: nourishes your Nervous System, decreases tension and stress

  • Calendula: increases prophetic dreams, provides protection

Directions:

1-2 tbsp of loose tea per cup of water. Steep covered up to 20 minutes, strain and enjoy. Sweeten as needed.

Recipe:

4 Parts Mugwort (Artemisia Vulgaris)

1 Part Passionflower (Passiflora Incarnata)

1 Part Chamomile (Matricaria Recutita)

1 Part Rose (Rosa spp.)

1 Part Spearmint (Mentha Spicata)

1 Part Oatstraw (Avena Sativa)

This blend of tea is overall cooling and drying to the body constitution.

Liver Restoration Tea Recipe

August 17, 2025 in Tea Recipes

Liver Restoration Tea is a potent blend of root herbs that help to restore and replenish a weakened liver. This blend provides nourishment, improves the detoxing pathways of the blood/liver/lymphatic systems and will help to reduce blood stagnation and skin toxicity that can lead to dry itchy skin conditions.

Burdock Root is the primary skin remedy. Skin health is related to liver health, so if you are experiencing skin conditions, it often means there is underlying liver weakness. Burdock Root is a nutritive tonic for the liver and also contains pre-biotics helping to reduce inflammation, provide support for the immune system and assist overall proper digestion. Dandelion Root assists increased bile production as well as other digestive enzymatic/secretion processes and contains pre-biotics. Milk Thistle is a remedy for the blood and liver, providing assistance in its cleansing and providing additional nutrition. Milk Thistle is also considered hepato-protective/trophorestorative which means that it is used to help restore the function and structure of the liver into a better state of health and protect it from ongoing damage. Marshmallow root brings added moisture to the mucous membranes of the body (ie. digestive system) and aids in the restoration of the vital flow. Lastly Licorice, is hepatoprotective meaning it helps to detoxify an overburdened liver. It also has a moistening and soothing effect on the digestive system.

Due to the potent nature of these herbs, this tea is quite earthy and bitter (similar to coffee) with a very subtle sweetness provided by the Licorice Root. Additional sweetener is suggested to make it more palatable for those who dislike coffee.

This blend will be cooling and moistening to the body’s constitution.

Directions:

This tea is made by a decoction which is slightly different than a normal tea infusion. Use 1-2 tbsp of loose tea per cup of water. Place in a pot and bring to a gentle boil, place lid and lightly simmer for 20-40 minutes. Strain and sweeten as needed.

These root herbs can be decocted more than once as long as the decoction is still strong after brewing. Refrigerate leftovers and use within 48 hours.

Recipe:

1 Cup Milk Thistle (Silybum Marianum)

1/2 Cup Burdock Root (Articum Lappa)

1/2 Cup Dandelion Root (Taraxacum Officinale)

1/3 Cup Marshmallow Root (Althaea Officinalis)

1/8 Cup Liquorice Root (Glycyrrhiza Glabra)
